MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I'm an Advocate

What makes me smile is seeing my kids enjoy being around me in spite of my funky moods at times. Let's me know that they still accept dad as dad.
Not a psychiatrist (pdoc) nor a therapist...what you read are my thoughts and there you go.

My mind is like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

My husband says funny things to me along with teasing me too, my kids do too, my dogs with how they act and behave. Also when chatting with friends here online I often smile and laugh with them. When watching TV animal shows i laugh too. I'm sure there are many other things that make me laugh and smile but i'm lost for words right now.

Whenever I'm sliding down into a funk, my dad will say "Just snap out of it" and it makes me laugh. I know that he's making fun of all those people who just don't understand that you CAN'T just snap out of it. He's the only one who can tell me that.
