MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Hi all. Up until about 5 months ago, I was a very active member here on MdJunction. Not to toot my own horn but I created the Daily Numbers. ( SO Happy to see that going on!)

I haven't been active because a lot has happened. Last November, my daughter and I relocated to a new city for my job. Once down here, I had a lapse in work and we were evicted from our apartment. We moved to a hotel. Right after that, I blacked out while on my prescribed dose of Ativan and totaled my car. The car was a total loss. It took two months for me to scrape together money to buy another car. Well in the meantime, my baby niece ( she is my youngest niece- she is 20) asked me if she could come stay with me. I told her yes. Even though my daughter and I were still living in a hotel, I opened our home to her. Everything was fine for a month.

Well last Tuesday, she stole our stuff, our electronics, money and the car.

I am very hurt.

Not only am I very hurt, it has also put my daughter and I in great financial and emotional stress.

Just need support.

Love you all!

Not to mention that I have been off all my meds since December. I have yet to connect with a doctor in the new city due to my transportation issues. I am reaching out and making an appointment with a medical professional tomorrow.

Hi! I joined after your left but I am glad you are back and reaching out for support! It sounds like you have been through a lot and you must be very heart broken about what your niece has done. I am sorry for everything that has happened to you and your daughter and wish I could do more than offer up my ear and verbal support. I am glad to hear you are getting to see a medical professional tomorrow. I hope they are able to help you stay or stabilize. Take care

sorry to hear about your losses, it's a hard time for alot of people. It's not right when someone is invited into a home and they take whats not theirs and alot of times we make the same mistakes again and again..we are too giving.

I know it's not the best places but did you look into a womans shelter for single moms? I hope you called the police and have her charged for the thefts. It might not bring the stuff back but the system is there for the people who take things.

I hope you find the support you need and I hope your luck changes for the better. Go buy a lotto ticket and see if your luck will change...just one though, that is all you need.

somedays every minute is a battle.....but I can only take it one minute at a time...

I am sorry that so much has happened to you. What a terrible betrayal from your niece. It must be very hurtful to you. I wish you luck as you reach out to your new medical professional.

I'm sorry you have had to go through all of those things. I'm hoping your fortunes turn around for you soon. I am glad to hear you are seeking medical help. It sounds like you need some material 3D world support. Do you have friends to reach out for? Does the extended family know what has happened?

All the best for tomorrow. I hope you find some relief from your troubles. Try and see your strength as a positive. You have been through a lot. Be gentle with yourself!

What a wicked person to do this to family. I can't believe someone would do that to a person. I hope you get your things back. Call the police on her for sure. She should not be getting away with this. How awful for you. I'm sorry this all has happened. What a betrayal to you and your daughter. I would be livid. I'm sorry that this happened to you and I hope that you get some stability in your life soon. I'm glad you are getting medical help tomorrow. That should help you a little. I'm glad you are reaching out. We will be here for you through this. I pray that things work out for you very soon. Welcome back!

Sending some good thoughts out your way. Hoping that things start to turn around for the better for you and your daughter. I agree about pressing charges. I know she is your niece, but she shouldn't be able to get away with that. If you get the police involved maybe you'll be able to get some of your things back. Take care.
