MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

The night before last, I stayed up all night with a rash (due to Lamictal). I stayed up all day but I was really tired, knock on wood. I went to sleep at about 11:30pm and I woke up at about 4:30am. Now I'm full of energy and don't feel the need to go back to sleep. Does this sound like a hypomanic episode? Personally I think so, and just yesterday and a few days before that I was in a depressive state. Advice anyone? I feel like talking to someone Smile

Now I'll go be a child a color a pretty picture for mommy.

I'm christen. My diagnosis is Bipolar II. My cocktail is Lamictal 50mg 2x/day and Paxil 20mg 1x/day. I may be imbalanced, but I don't bite. Let's be friends.

This could be hypo-mania, yes. I know you are seeing your psychiatrist soon. You need to tell that person that you are feeling these feelings and cannot sleep. It sounds like you may be cycling since you were depressed not too long ago. I'm sorry you got a rash. Lamictal is a really good drug. It's too bad you can't take it. I hope that your psychiatrist gets you something that will work with your body chemistry soon. Hang in there and let us know what the psychiatrist says. We're rooting for you!

I'm no doc but it sounds like hypnomania to me too. That lack of sleep is the pits isn't it? I hope you get a good and full nights rest soon.
