I haven't had a change in meds in about 6 months, but for the most part, I am stable (After almost 3 years). I've noticed that I still cycle, but it is not as drastic. But, I will go a week where I have to take valium, and then spend 2 weeks withdrawn from everyone. Lately, I noticed I am starting to lose hair by the handful, it is EVERYWHERE. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the decreased severity of the cycling worth mentioning, or can I just expect this the rest of my life?
Can't wait to hit the lottery jackpot!!! I guess I still have to buy my first lottery ticket though...

Cymbalta 30mg daily
Lamictal 375mg Daily
Abilify 2mg daily
Zyprexa 2.5mg daily
Valium 2.5-5mg as needed

I also had a problem losing hair -- it was all over everything and I was constantly cleaning out my brushes. I went to the health food store and got a silica hair / nail blend -- I'm supposed to take it 3x / day, but I always forget and only take it once. I also increased my vitimin intake. Overnight I stopped losing large quantities of hair (though I still lose some). This is NOT the season one typically loses hair; I've been told that people normally lose about 150 strands a day -- I still lose more, but the situation is under control. I think it was caused by stress, although I am on Lithium, which can cause hair loss as well.

I was having trouble with this and my Pdoc told me to start to take a 50+ vitamin. I take centrum silver. It has helped some.
* When nothing goes right...go left
* Attach your own oxygen mask before assisting others
* Women are not that complicated. How hard is it to tell us
we are pretty and give us chocolate?
* Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting their own battle.
* Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its troubles. It empties today of its strength.

Get your thyroid checked. I started doing that and it turned out my thyroid shut down (then again I have family history of thyroid disease... was never on lithium).

[Charles Wallace possessed by IT, says to Meg]: ‘Mrs. Whatsit hates you,’ Charles Wallace said. And that is where IT made ITS fatal mistake, for as Meg said, automatically, ‘Mrs. Whatsit loves me; that’s what she told me, that she loves me,’ suddenly she knew. She knew! Love. That was what she had that IT did not have. She had Mrs. Whatsit’s love, her father’s, and her mother’s , and the real Charles Wallace’s love, and the twins’ and Aunt Beast. And she had love for them. But, how could she use it? What was she meant to do? If she could give love to IT perhaps it would shrivel up and die, for she was sure IT could not withstand love. But her in all her weakness was incapable of loving IT. But, she could love Charles Wallace. She could stand there and love Charles Wallace. Her own Charles Wallace, the real Charles Wallace. I love you. Charles Wallace, you are my darling and my dear and the light of my life and the treasure of my heart. I love you. I love you. I love you." (228-229)
