I have a really bad pdoc I think. It seems like he really doesn't care about anything. I recently went to him Monday and I had an anxiety attack while being there. This caused my blood pressure to rise. He asked me did I take my medication which is Abilify and Lamictal. As for what I know both of those are not for anxiety. So, I went to go see my family doctor because that's what my pdoc wanted to check my blood pressure again. It was just right at the family doctor's office...

So, later on today he called and told him due to anxiety my blood pressure went up. He told me that's because I took my medication. I'm confused because I took my medication before I went to go see him. Does he not trust me with me be responsible and taking my medication? I think he's just a really bad pdoc now. I'm thinking about switching to someone else.

You have to really trust your pdoc. In my opinion, if you are starting to doubt him than you should be looking for someone new. Trust your instincts. If they are telling you to find someone new, you should probably listen.

Just my opinion, of course.

My opinions are just opinions, and should be taken as such. I am not an expert on medicines or BP disorder.

Dino,

1. Check your insurance for other providers.

2. Pick a name that you know or one close to your house.

3. Get your ass in your car and go see the new one.

(Just my advice to make you a complete and HAPPY man Smile

Haha, thank you. I just feel like he doesn't understand me...it hasn't been the first time.

It's very important to feel understood by your pdoc. This is a serious part of our lives to trust to a professional. If you aren't comfortable than I would certainly consider switching.

I love my pdoc and I can't imagine dealing with this all with her if I did not.
