Hi

don't know if this is the right place for this, I am still finding my way around the board.

Last night I took my meds twice. Don't know what I was thinking of. I was really tired this morning and I probably wouldn't have even thought about the meds but my dosette box was still on the worktop. I saw I had taken Friday and Saturdays. So I took 1200mg of Quetiapine and 2000mg Lithium.

I feel fine. I have a little gnawing feeling in my digestive system but I have had a dodgy tum on and off for a bit. I have no nausea, no tremors or anything. I can't face going to A&E just to get my levels checked as it will be horrendous on a Saturday night. I also know because of my history they won't believe it was an accident.

Would side effects be showing by now? I thought I could just miss tonights Lithium and then get back to normal. Or is it too soon to tell if I am going to have toxicity?

I don't think so, but just in case I'd drink a buttload of water and refrain from salt just for today. Glad nothing bad happened!

I sure hope you will be ok. It sounds like you will be. If you are still worried call poison control or a pharmacist and tell them what you did. I'm sure it happens all the time. Maybe they can advise you on what to do. Best of luck!

I agree with both of the excellent suggestions posted... Especially drinking tons of water... Good luck.

LOL at the peeing!

I got checked out at local med centre and they say I am fine. They have taken blood test anyway and I have to go back if I feel ill. But at the mo I am fineSmile Drinking plenty ofwater! Thanks I just didn't think about that.
