I haven't been on in a while, but I'm glad you're all here for me.

I'm starting to feel like I can't take this "over the top" anxiety any longer. I'm depressed as well. Went to the doc and he added Wellbutrin to my mix as well as substituting Risperidal for Geodon. I'm trying to ease in to the new meds so I've tried only the Wellbutrin so far. Seems to be okay, but the anxiety if awful now.

Tried so many different meds over the last couple years, but can't ever seem to get a combination that ever makes me feel normal(not sure what normal is. I feel so tired and so scared. I am not suicidal, but wondering if I need to go to the hospital for the first time. It would be a huge thing for me to give control over to a psych ward, but I feel so over whelmed. Any advise or help is welcome.

Wellbutrin 300 mg

Adderall 40 mg

Geodon 80 mg

Prozac 40 mg

Xanax 2 mg

soon to change Geodon to: Risperidone 2 mg

Thanks everyone.

It sounds like the Wellbutrin has made the anxiety worse. In time you will find the right combination of medications, so please don't give up. If you feel you need to be in the hospital, then go. There is nothing wrong with that. Maybe you could find the right mix while you are there. You are overwhelmed and definitely go to the hospital if you feel like you are going to hurt yourself. That's a must. I would really call your psychiatrist because he needs to know what you are feeling so he can properly treat you. I hope you get relief soon. Please keep posting, we will be here to support you.

Wellbutrin can make your anxiety worse. Call you rPdoc and go to ER if you feel suicidal.

I agree with Joy and Bangbang. I had some anxiety but when I started wellbutrin it went through the roof. I started clenching my jaw so bad that I got cracks in my teeth, became anxious whenever I had to drive and started to think every conversation just out of earshot was about me.

Once off the wellbutrin it all cleared up. My doc added cymbalta instead. Of course I AM NOT A PDOC just sharing my experience of wellbutrin.

Thanks for telling me about Wellbutrin, I just took my first dose this am, but I'll stop taking it if I get that kind of anxiety again.
