I'm an Advocate

I do that sometimes, but when I don't have money when I need it it sucks. I try to remind myself that that will happen if I spend it. You are going to have to practice self control. Be firm with yourself. Smile It's not easy, but it's doable. I hope you don't continue to spend your check! I'm sending you positive not spending thoughts.

I used to, but I think having $0 except for necessities has cured me. The joy of living on one income while trying to wade through the early bipolar madness.

what's sad is that my manic tendencies with spending money have to be reigned in and refocused as to where I pretend buying things I absolutely need are wild and on the edge. I actually start feeling crazed when I am in the store buying kitty litter and allergy medicine and feel like kicking myself the next day for having spent the money.

I agree with fobs12, when i have money i have to spend it right away. I feel so accomplished when i buy things that i think i need. Then the next day i think how stupid it was and i did not really need what ever it was i bought.
