I don't have experience with that combination, but I was on a low dose of Seroquel for a brief period. I couldn't take it because I developed pronounced involuntary muscle jerking of my extremities. I don't know if the facial movements are related to the Seroquel or not, but if this is something new and keeps repeating I would definitely contact his pdoc about it and see what he/she says. There are other antipsychotics on the market to try that he might be able to tolerate without being adversely affected by side effects. I hope he can find something that keeps him stable without unpleasant side effects.

Lithium and Seroquel are wonder drugs for me. I was taken off Depakote after it raised my liver functions to unacceptable levels. Of course now the lithium is killing my kidneys. However, I'd rather be somewhat stable than to switch anything and risk getting sick again.

I don't have any experience with those medications but just wanted to echo what uppity said about talking to his pdoc about the symptoms if they continue. I also wanted to add that I take Geodon and have for 5 years and it has worked well as my mood staiblizer. Good luck!
