Good afternoon Friends.

Well in France for the moment we are lucky because we don't have to pay much for our doctor or medicine because we have social security.

But not for long our new president is a bush bis so a dangerous nuts who don't care much about poor people ( think france not as big country for him that's why he wants the bush system).

We can't say to other people we are bipolar, my kids know but one day a woman told to my son bipolars were very dangerous mad people so in less than one minute he had a serial killer for mum !!! so true i like the shining film but i am a nice and quiet woman (except in my job)

So let me know what happen to you when you talk about the fact you are bipolar.

Christine

Hi cygnet!

I have only shared with a few closed friends that I am bi polar. For the most part, they have been supportive. Unfortunatly, there is still a bad stigma associated with mental illness. I am just really careful about who I talk to about bi polar.

I'm an Advocate

I have gotten past the point of caring what people think of me. I am what I am...so I tell people if it comes up in conversation. I have found people to be accepting and it is not a problem. And even if it were, that would be their problem, not mine.
Comments made by me are from my own experience and they are my opinion alone, whose intent is only to share that opinion and not to give medical advice nor discourage from seeking medical help. Medicine is best left to the professionals that is what they do.
