My boyfriend really needs and deserves this job.
This isn't really a bipolar thread, but since I post here a lot and people are active, thought I'd give it a try!
My bf had a job interview, and they said they'd let him know on Thursday if he got it. Obviously, that's tomorrow.
PLEASE hope he gets this job. We need it so badly. His current job screwed our family over (me, him, our son) by upping the insurance so high we can no longer afford any groceries.
It was 50/50 between him and another guy. I hope my bf gets it. I keep hoping and wishing, and stressing. I know he deserves it, but I worry: what if the other guy had a degree? I'd be very upset bc the job didnt require a degree and there are HUNDREDS of computer jobs that require degrees in this area. I think it would be so unfair if that was the case, because that guy could easily snag a job!
My boyfriend works his ass off. He's always on time, always early, always calm and collected, learns fast, GREAT worker, loves what he does.
I know I'm jumping to conclusions with the "what ifs". The other guy may not have a degree, and maybe he needs it too, but I think my bf is the most qualified they can get. I feel selfish saying screw the other guy..but we're all so nervous about what we're going to do about money.
There's no other jobs currently hiring for non-degree people. My bf is in school, just not finished yet. And I am taking classes in the Fall, and we need a babysitter for more hours...well, we can't do that unless my bf gets a better job by then.
Sorry to rant but I really, really, really hope he gets this job. It's going to break my heart if he doesn't.
