trust me I was very tempted...lol, would have called the cops about the gun fire, some was 9mm, and the others I know were shotguns, didn't bother the cops as I am sure they are use to that kinda thing around here, and I figured they were busy enough with all the drunks.

I'm behind you guys today. Stayed up to watch the ball drop. Had 1 glass of sparkling wine to toast the new year with my husband, then right off to bed. Way past my usual bedtime of 10:00. I think my little dog is cuddling my daughter because he didn't try to wake me up today.

I don't go back to work until Thursday, the perks of being a teacher.

My husband goes back to work tomorrow and is signed up to start at 2:30 am. I'm a little worried about that and hope he does alright. He's still a little manic but seems to be managing it. He cleaned the computer room last night, which is why I had to get off suddenly. I wish I coud tell him about this site, but am so concerned about worrying him right now. I don't like to have secrets from him, though, so probably need to work up the courage. Happy New Year to all.

We stayed up, didn't watch the ball drop, but saw the new year in, which is new for us...lol, generally we are in bed, hubbys boss had given us a bottle of sparkling grape juice..so we toasted in the New Year with that..

Keeping secrets is something that I don't generally agree with, but there are times it is in everyone's best interest to do so, you might be able to brouch the subject by saying you came across this site in doing research on the illness of bipolar.. or that you heard about the site from a friend...blame me if you want too..lol.. I am always in trouble for something whether I did it or not..so I am use to it..rofl..

Hoping your New Year brings you health, wealth and happiness.

Hey, Sheila!

Busy site today with lots of people and lots going on. Did you see, I made it to "insiring member"? I don't know if you saw my post under Happy New Year, but I fell down my icy deck steps this morning taking my dog out. That's what I get for living in Ohio. I'm okay, I think, except my hand is bruised, which makes it hard to type. (Excuse for typo's, lol).

Congratulations on the inspiring member status Terri.

Know it is busy, I have tried to catch up on what is going on and by the time I get something read there is already all kinds of responsed to the stuff I have already read. It is a wonderful problem to have.

lol, I've learned to cheat, when faced with a ton of new posts, I will read everyone's reply to the topic in question, when i pull up the first response, and then just delete any other notices about that topic till I get to ones that are at the time of my reading, saves having to check out each and every notice..

Hey, RED!

Glad to see you survived the night with the kids. Happy New Year! I've read several of your posts today, responded to some, but just can't seem to keep up.

It's good to see the site so active. The more people, the more helpful stories and advice.
