hi ya'll. just wanted ya'll to know that tonight and tomorrow until the early afternooon is the last time I will be able to regularly get on the internet. we are shutting it off to pay for my meds.

I think it is the best we could come up with because i couldn't think of anything else to cut, realistically. I'll be poping in to check in periodically when I get the chance.

right now I'm in a low mixed episode. Earlier I thoguth it would be a good idea to start studying to open an RV park here where I live since there isn't one. My hubby gave me that, "you're manic again" look. probably. but sombody better do it. or this town is gonna dry up. that was my thought pattern anyway.

earlier today I was so depressed I thought of going off all my meds and leaving here. I was thinking it wasn't worth the money to do this anymore. But then my friend called. Somtimes having people expect things from me is the only thing that keeps me going.

I see my pdoc tomorrow. I hope he gets me on another mood stabilizer, because this "taking me off lamictal" idea is hard on me. I need ya'll support on this one.

That sucks that you have to cut your internet out. It's like cutting part of therapy out of your life. At least you will pop in periodically to check in. I'm sorry you are in a mixed mood. Those are bad and I hope it doesn't get any worse than it is. Please push that thought about quitting your medications out of your head. That wouldn't be good at all. That would be awful. I'm glad you see your psychiatrist tomorrow. I hope he puts you on a new mood stabilizer. Why did he take you off of Lamictal? I hope you start to feel better. Keep popping in and posting. We are here for you.

I'm so sorry you've had to cut out your internet! I hope you're able to pop in rather frequently. Smile Good luck to you getting your meds sorted out...I know how hard that is. Hang in there and hopefully soon you'll be feeling more stable. (((mim)))

You don't get over it, you just get through it. You don't get by it because you cant get around it. It doesn't get better, it just gets different.

That's really crummy that you have to give up the internet, but you need to be on your medications. Do you live near a public library? Most offer public internet access computers and you can get online more frequently that way. I am sorry you are in a mixed state right now. That's a hard place to be in. It's good that you are seeing your pdoc tomorrow. I am curious as to why he took you off Lamictal. I hope you get stabilized quickly and are able to come back often.

Mimmy, losing internet isn't good. Have you looked into some of the low cost dial up services?

http://www.basicisp.net/landing/?PromoCode=100405

http://www.dialup4less.com/

http://www.usnetizen.com/

http://www.netzero.net/

lowest priced dialup internet

I hope you can afford one of those. Recently I cut my monthly bills by cancelling directv because I can get the major networks for free.

mim that sure sucks that you have to get rid of internet. I know how you feel. I have been struggling to keep my internet at home since I have been unemployed. In the times I don't have internet at home, I find myself at the library on the pc A LOT. Every month it is a struggle to pay the bill but I need to have instant email acess for job leads. If you have a laptop there are many places that offer free internet access including MCDonalds. Make sure you keep us posted on your mixed episode. I look forward to hearing from you mim. Take care.
