My pdoc called me and asked if I would be interested in participating in a research study of my current medications and care plan. Part of me wants to do it but another part of me is nervous. Has anyone ever participated in a research study? What was your experience like?

I won't have to change my meds. The study is about my current meds so nothing would change. It is a series of phone interviews. Doesn't sound bad, but I am still nervous. I should be getting more information today.

I don't talk about bp outside of here except with my tdoc and pdoc. I know that it would be kept confidential, so it is silly of me to be nervous.

Well, I called the number my pdoc gave me and they took all of my information. The study is full - apparently there are a limited number of participants. They are going to call me if anyone drops out. Even though I won't be part of the study I feel good that I called. It felt proactive.

Bipolar I Extreme rapid cycling, General Anxiety disorder, Social anxiety disorder, PTSD, Fibromyalgia
My meds:
Equetro 800mg
Klonopin 1mg as needed for anxiety
Celexa 40mg
Atarax
Lyrica 100mg x 3 a day
