MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

Last night I missed my night time dose of Depakote. I was entertaining a significant other, at my home, and forgot. This is a very rare lapse on my part, especially in the last year. Since i started taking the Depakote ER, and at night, I have been always sure, never to nod off, without my dosage.

Anyone miss an important dose lately? Is it easy to bounce back? A few years ago, i wouldn't care to ask these questions, but now i do, because my mental health, is far more important to me now.

I think it would depend on the person and the med and how long they have been on it i missed a dose of my Lamictal and woke up with one hell of a headache

if it's just one dose, forget it and take your normal intake now. missing one dose shouldn't hurt. i've had it happen to me for 2 days recently, while i was glad to back to the habit the most i could report was not a great sleep the 2nd night

I would think of future failures.

I would dream my dreams real.
Now that I am something and I’ve thought, touched, and dreamed,
I will let it all go

Something was just inherently off, with me today. I'm still doing okay, and with the absence of anti-depressants (2 months now) in me, I am far more stable, to the point where i can't call myself a rapid cycler anymore

I have been on Depakote for 14 years. 2000mg, the current dosage, is the most I have taken, but my levels are all good. Due to past indescretions with my meds, i felt vulnerable today, having messed up, for the 1st time in a long time.

I have been pretty foggy today. Not down, now manic, but confused. I left my ATM card, in an ATM, this morning. That's the kind of dumbing-down, so to speak, that i had today.

Thanks for your input guys

I recently missed my effexor and it threw me off for the next couple of days.

Are you still doing well?
