it's late 30.... omg. can't sleep agian. anyone else having same problem? things have been okay, but been manic as hell and am not sleeping well, which is effecting my work. is anyone out there? got advice last post for some ideas, but doc appt is in 2 weeks...arrrgghhhDizzy

I can't decide if I am manic or not. I have been up since 3:30 so I think I am. I do not feel tired. I hope you found some peace and comfort by now.

Can you call your pdoc and get something to help you sleep? Seroquel, and Zyprexa worked for me, Zyprexa worked the best.

Ya never know everyone is different.

but its worth a call. The longer you go without sleep the worse it will probably get. I've never had mania, I've had hypo-mania its similar but not quite as intense.

I hope you were able to get some sleep finally. Please call your pdoc and don't wait for your appointment. That is too far away. You need help now. Sleeplessness triggers mania in me, too, and only medications stop it. Two weeks is too long to wait. Call your pdoc.

I hope you were able to get some sleep, I know what it's like not being able to sleep due to mania. I agree with the others, I think you should call your pdoc and not wait for two weeks.

My diagnosis:
Bipolar I Extreme rapid cycling, General Anxiety disorder, Social anxiety disorder, PTSD, Fibromyalgia
My meds:
Equetro 800mg
Klonopin 1mg as needed for anxiety
Celexa 40mg
Atarax
Lyrica 100mg x 3 a day

i often spend the night up and into the morning...not falling asleep till 7-9 am...and then only getting a little sleep. And no one is there...just you and your thoughts. Right now i'm not working so it doesn't matter i guess...i hope it gets better for you.
