I am just curious if bipolar affects what we like to watch on TV.

I really hate reality shows for the most part, although I did watch Big Brother some this past season and kind of got into it. And I sort of like Undercover Boss.

The only shows I watch regularly though are

Sundays: CSI Miami

Tuesdays: NCIS

Wednesdays: Criminal Minds

We don't have cable, so all we have are the basic channels with a converter box. But even when we had cable, those are really the only shows I watched. Except for some Law & Order (original, SVU or Criminal Intent).

Out of the few shows I watch though, Criminal Minds is my favorite.

Bipolar I
Rapid Cycling
Anxiety Disorder
PTSD

Klonopin 1-4mg/day
Adderall 40mg (20mg 2x day)
Topamax 200mg
Depakote 500mg

Chantix - time to quit smoking, FOR GOOD!

I don't want the world to see me, cuz I don't think they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken - I just want you to know who I am.

Hm, I'm not sure it would have an effect unless there's a show with blatantly discriminatory material, which wouldn't surprise me at all. I watch Doctor Who, Glee, Top Gear, and Jeopardy.

Hi!

I find with my bipolar, I have to always have the TV on (during the day) even softly in the background as I read or study so my thoughts don't race. At night, I used to fall asleep to TV, but since the divorce, no TV in the bedroom so I listen to relaxation sounds in CD's (the ocean, etc)

As far as TV shows...I'm a reality junkie but am starting to break away from some & fall in love with other genre's (bye bye Survivor, hello Top Chef!). I used to be a D&A counselor so I like Intervention.

Yesterday is history; tomorrow's a mystery; today's a gift!

Love, Kim

Nova, Nova Now, My Family, Muscle Car Workout, Motorweek, This Old House,New Yankee Workshop, Tracks Ahead,NCIS (both shows) CSI NY, Bones, Fringe (altho it is starting to jump the tracks), And that Indian show with the annoying whining and the Cheif who never does or say anything. And what is that pattern behind him?

And Red Green. I find his Home and Vehicle repair and upgrade segments very helpful! Blink
