I start on Monday. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I haven't worked since January when I was hospitalized with a manic episode. I have lost the last three jobs I have had due to my manic episodes and being hospitalized. I hope this time is different, that I can handle it. I now have hope, something I thought I had lost. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I am so, so happy for you. What will you be doing? I can believe you are nervous and excited. I would be too. You will do just fine though. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for sure. This is a new big step for you and you are going to like it. I think it will be fun to be out of the house and doing something for a change. Good luck!!!

I understand, I would also be nervous and excited and the same time!! I also haven't worked in a long time, but will be looking soon. I hope this job will give you a strong feeling of accomplishment and contentment. Knowing that you are contributing to society and caring for yourself. Remember to give yourself time to get comfortable, it is always a little nerve wracking being the new girl. Please let us know how the job is going for you and how you are doing. I wish you the best of luck and i'm sure you will do just fine. Again Congrats!!!

Thank you so much for your replies. I will be Information Technology Supervisor. I have worked in information technology my whole adult life and have even been a director before I got sick with bipolar. It can be a stressful field to be in but I am most happy working with technology. I will only have 2 people reporting to me so it will be a small group.
