MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

I recently have linked by reading a few studies, that gastritis can be brought on by rapid decrease of 2nd generation antipsychotics. In my case, I have been on queitipine for 11yrs,and among having gastritis, ive had gallstones.(which were removed by cholestecomy) Recently my stomach bothers me every single day when I wake up, only for a little while until I eat. I finally noticed a pattern that coincides with the theory of my med intake. Has anyone who has been disgnosed woth gastritis also been on any 2nd generation antipsychotics? Sad

What is gastritis? I'm sorry your stomach bothers you so much. That has got to hurt. I'm not on second generation anti-psychotics I believe. I am curious to see the replies though. I'm sure others will be along to post about your subject. I don't remember meeting you, so welcome to the group!!
