My name's Leah, and I have been diagnosed with Bipolar two years ago, then it became type I in June of this year.

Doing therapy and on medication that helps very well, but I'd like to be here to also help others with their episodes. Smile

Hey there. I am glad you have found us. I manage my episodes by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Eating clean, exercising and taking my meds as prescribed is what helps me.

Welcome! I find this place very supportive. I am just coming out of a three month depression. I had my antidepressant doubled and so far I'm doing much better. I'm afraid that the only things that make me feel better are my meds and my psychologist visits.

Usually takes more than medicine and therapy to get better though, you need to work on yourself too.

It is very unfortunate that many people in this world lack the knowledge regarding Bipolar. People think I am crazy, or making it up. And I love being in an environment where everyone understands and no one thinks I am crazy.
