Yes, I agree med changes are very hard! First you have to figure out if what you are feeling is a result of going off the last drug, the affect of the new drug, or a side affect of the new drug or is it that your just tired or not feeling well or something awful happened that is just causing you to be depressed.

I tried to go off Xanax once and ended up lieing in bed most of the day staring at the wall.

I hope that you feel better soon and that your doctor is understanding if you feel you need to call them. My doctor is understanding except he has never heard of the side affects of some of these drugs even though I have verified through the internet that it is indeed a side affect!

Grrrgh!

I am going through a med change too. I just doubled my celexa because because I have been so depressed. I haven't been able to bathe, change clothes or do my hair and I'm crying all the time. I just started the upped dosage today. The last time I tried to do this, I went into a rapid cycling mode so I'm scared and understand what you're going through. I'm sending positive thoughts your way.

One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all. Meds are hard on me that is why I think that ECT has been so successful for me.

April, you haven't been around for awhile I noticed. I'm sorry that you have been down. I pray that the Cymbalta works for you. Glad you weaned yourself off of the Paxil. you will probably start to feel better if you upped the Cymbalta. You will be in my thoughts.
