My wife and I have been married for three years now, and I knew she was bipolar when we first met, however she has never stayed on any medication for any time frame, nor has she gone out and tried to get help for herself. I noticed about six months into our marriage she started to distance herself from me, saying she was feeling crowded and had no alone time. He have had several rough times in our marriage and she has closed herself off emotionally and on an intimate level for years now. I even moved from GA to TX because she wanted to start her own business with her mother. I've noticed that she can always find something wrong with me and when I fix that issue, thaere's always another problem that she has with me. We are now seperated and I'm getting ready to divorce her and move on with my life. Is there any support groups in the Dallas TX area for spouses who deal with bipolars??

You are making a healthy decision for yourself and your life. The best way to find a group or organization that offers live support groups is to find the local NAMI or National Alliance for Mental Illness. They offer many classes and support groups. Also try using different search methods on the web and you will surprised by the answers it will pull up.

Good Luck to you.

BE BLESSED!
