I'm been on Lamictal for 5 weeks, I was on 75mg, also today then I went to see my nurse patrician, she went up on my Lamictal to 100mg for 7 days, and to take 200mg after 7 days, has anyone here jump from 100mg to 200mg, and what was it like???

I did very well on Lamictal. I also did the gradual increase. 100 to 200mg is not unheard of. Good Luck. Like I said I did good on it.

I did a jump from 75 to 150.. 75mg jump. It didn't bother me at all, but then, with Lamictal I had o-zip-none side effects. (Celexa, however...).

Pdoc offered me the 100 jump but I declined because of 'script costs. Otherwise I probably would have taken it.

I'm on 300mg and still no side effects. It's amazing. I did a jump just like that, my doc said that after a certain number of weeks of titrating that that wouldnt be a big deal.
Lamictal, 375mg
Effexor, 225mg
Buspar, 15 mg/day x3
Seroquel, 100mg (at night)

I started Lamictal at 25,50.then 100mg,200mg now I'm on 400mg daily. I think the brand name works better than the generic but I can't afford it and my insurance will not cover it.

I went from 100 mg to 200mg in about 3 weeks. I was split 100 amthem pm. I spept better, had a bid of a daily sedation until I adjusted. Saw marked inprovements in my mood after one week or so. I hope you find the same, unfortunately eveyone's body chemistry is different. Hang in there it takes time to get the right drugs in the right balance,in the mean while we are all here for you

Also, I want to know am I going to start feeling the effects soon when I start 100 or 200mg of Lamictal, because I already been going up 25mg dose every two weeks for 6 weeks and don't feel any improvement in my mood, still having mood swings.

I don't think jumping like that at the higher dose is uncommon. I think I did the same when I got up to 100mg. You should feel more of a difference at 200mg. I would think that the mood swings should lessen. Good luck.
