Since he has asked her not to talk to you, she has a legal obligation to do so, unless you are deemed his caretaker by court. She could get sued otherwise. Sorry you're in this touch situation. Hopefully things will work out for the best.

Chrissie is absolutely right. Most hospitals now have patients sign paperwork when they are admitted that state specifically who can have access to confidential information, and that includes discussion with doctors and counselors. A breach of this confidentiality is massive, so they are within the legal right to do this.

they say NOT AT THEIR FACILITY. The POA is NON revocable by him. I am going to call the social worker in the morning at the hospital and get to the bottom of this BS. I have calls out to see if I can get him transferred to another facility. My guess, he runs. He told me, the morning of the admission, you better have a lot of money now, as it is going to cost you to chase me now. yeah....thousands. his state medical was denied as he is now OK. he is evil. I do not want him home.

Living: Why would you chase him?
"Well I won't back down
No I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won't back down

No I'll stand my ground
Won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from dragging me down
Gonna stand my ground
And I won't back down"

I can see Canada from my window right now. I may run the border for fun tonight, and see if I can get my American Indian a$$ back across the border without going to jail. Hell, maybe they will give me a MONTH in the hahaHotel 8 for that, or worse.
