Just curious as I have heard this alot and was wondering if most BP's are drinkers and if ya'll get help for BP why not drinking also? Just wondering??
Every one say's they are going to put thier mark on the world....Well I say to heck with that I am going to put a whole in it........

My wife wasnt ever much of a drinker, she did do other stuff though...

I was a pretty good drinker. Self medicating, I suppose. Now I rarely have a drink because when it's mixed with the meds, I get all messed up.

But I miss it, to be truthful.

They call me Jrock :)

There is a help group called dual diagnosis, and I think it deals with just that; BP and alcoholism.
They call me Jrock :)

thats cool....I was curious only because I am in the Alchohol group and there are only 73 members just werid is all

I am bp and i have not drank anything in about 10 years.
What you see depends on what you are looking for

in my opinion, you need to deal with the addiction first, bp 2nd. the addiction screws up treatment for bp. i could be go wrong though
death happens every tiniest fragment of time and happens again every smaller tiniest fragment of time and there can be a tiniest fragment of time that makes life worth not losing . . .
