as she is aging it is getting worse she is now manic alot and then gets very tired, i suspect these are depressive phases.

She has gained weight due to medication to treat the mood swings but im so tired of the stress and constant battles.

She is currently on abilify, wellbutrin, and trazadone.

She is still haveing bad mood out bursts and hits everyone around her and always says im mean and i hate her or she hates me.

I dont know what to do any more, her psychiatrist suggested long term care in either a group home or hospital and I really dont want to do either. He is reluctant to put her on any new drugs cause he dont want to change anything and her list of prior meds is so long that he dont think there are many that would help. Is it possible to use Lithium in a almost 11 yr old girl.
