April, I don't think you're emotionless, you're very firey and passionate. Weren't you angry at the name that is not to be mentioned? Wink If all your anger is being directed at yourself or internalised, I don't have to tell you to place the anger where it belongs. And dearest you, give yourself a break when you're angry.

This post caught my eye because right now I am SOOO angry but not at myself for once Tongue I have cried, sobbed, shouted, rationalised it but am still SO pissed. Because of a dispute at work my boss is refusing to pay me until we have an appraisal meeting next week. I found out this morning that I will have NO SALARY tomorrow, the end of the month. Rent, car, insurance, bills, food ... how can he be such a heartless &#!@ ?? AAARRRGGGHHH.

Sorry to jump on your post, it just seemed an appropriate place to vent.

You are the bomb!! Cool

Don't believe everything you think ;)

I don't think you are emotionless. I often direct anger towards myself and do destructive things. Also i raise my voice at my kids for trivial things but i feel i'm being taken advantage of and am being disrespected. Sometimes i'll nag nag nag at them because of little things, maybe that's the OCD in me...lol. I don't think i have ocd but i'm starting to wonder.

April, you have such a warm heart and yes i can see you feeling alot of compassion for others. Just make sure you look after yourself and be good to "you", who else is gonna do it.

Dizzyb, so sorry to hear about your work situation, that is terrible, i wish you all the best, keep us posted.

Emotionless, no. You are very kind. I don't think you are an angry person at all. Just know that. You may get angry at yourself at times, but everyone does that every once in awhile. I hope you feel better, you are a good person. Big hugs

April I would say you are far from emotionless. I also would say that I get angry at others and situations, but I get the ANGRIEST at myself - no doubt. THat anger is the longest and hardest to overcome.

Cheer up - you are self discerning...

I also do not think that you are emotionless. I think you are fiery, passionate, and caring. You get angry. You show empathy and compassion to those of us here. A therapist also once told me that depression is anger turned inward. Those two are definite emotions as well, flip sides of the same coin.

You are not emotionless at all. You are quite passionate and it shows in your posts. You have a zest for life, and even in your "off" days you are far from being devoid of emotion. I sometimes have blank times when I seem to be floating and without feeling, but they are very infrequent and they don't last. You might just be in a spot like that right now, but it definitely will not last long and you will soon be back to your "normal" self.

Naw, April, you are the last person i would think of when it comes to 'emotionless'. You may have angry posts, but you also have 10x the amount of posts that show caring, happiness, giddiness, concern, need i go on?
