Anyone know of a good detox program without having to stop taking your meds?

Going from two different types of pills to six in about a week has to have an effect on my body. There's no way I can stop taking my meds for six weeks or whatever to detox...so I was wondering if there's a way to "cleanse" my body without stopping treatment.

Shit. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, with my lithium intake I guess the water thing should be on top of my list. Only problem is, it only last the first day 'cause all the bathroom breaks were driving me crazy. Plus there's always some green stuff in the water coolers at work. Urgh.

Good luck with that... Smile

hasn't your dr. provided for withdrawal problems? just as an example, when my dr. wanted me to reduce seroquel from 300 to 100mg, i did it in 25mg steps. i hope your dr. has thought of this. if not or if you don't understand, contact your dr. you might consider hanging with what you're taking until you have better info.
