MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

Yes I also have that. My husband is the one who talked to me and said that there may be a problem but he never wants to go to the pdoc or anything with me he is somewhat supportive I just don't think he understands fully..as for other family members they have no clue and think its a joke and I do these things on purpose for attention.
Every one say's they are going to put thier mark on the world....Well I say to heck with that I am going to put a whole in it........

Thanks I just wish that my family could understand what I am going through. They have no idea. Sometimes I don't even think they look at me as a person anymore but as a mental disease. I even had one person tell me if I cared so much about my nieces and nephews I would take my pills...which I do everyday but because I cut myself when I am hurt I am not taking my pills or doing everything in my power not to help myself. I ahve been to therapy, I have had doctors, and attended group sessions.

welcome dx..i dont understand the non supporters as much as they dont understand BP. i dont really face that problem much though. the problem that i face is...now that i am on meds my mania has gone away as long as i am taking them as perscribed..well if i get upset i always here "Did you take your meds today?" Dear god that is like trying to strike the mania. I just want to feel and be treated like im "normal". sometimes i would rather not have the support than to have the support of people who dont understand cuz then it all relates right back to BP!!
