Lustrious

Greetings.

I joined the bipolar group over a month ago. I have replied to a couple of post but am unable to locate the page where I would do an introduction. For quite sometime I was not in a state where I could open up and tell others about myself/situation. I have now had to sessions with my psych doc and two with my therapist and feel I am ready to step out of the role of a bystander/observer. Can you direct me on how to locate the page where I can introduce myself to the group and how to start a discussion where I could ask others for their opinions and thoughts?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Lustrious, to do the introduction, you will go to the home site of bipolar health forums, and there you will see the introduction site. At the top of this discussion you will see

You are at: Health Forums Bipolar Support Forums General & Support

By clicking on the health forums, it will take you to the main home page that lists all the different groups, by clicking on the Bipolar Support Forums, it will take you to the home page for all of the different Bipolar groups, like the introduction section, general which this is, tips and information, and medications.

clicking on the general & support link will take you to where all the different posts are located, if you see a blue round button looking thing, next to a post, that means that there are new posts to that topic that you haven't seen yet, or that it is a post that you haven't seen yet, the button is gray when you have seen them all

Down at the bottom of the posts you will see

Start a New Discussion and Subscribe to this topic, clicking on the start a new, will obviously let you start a new post, and the subscribe to this topic, will allow you to follow the post even if you don't wish to comment.

I am glad to hear that you are ready to come in out of the shadows.. it's hard to open up.

Carmen

On the front page for Bipolar Support group, in the middle you can see recent posts. Beneath the posts is a link that reads "More Bipolar Discussions..." Click on that and you should see more forum options. I'm sure there is an easier way but I can't find it... Good luck.
