Anthro, please don't be so hard on yourself, it's tough for any parent to have their child dianosed with a illness, best thing you can do for them, is help them in their education about this, and to show them that you are serious about getting your therapy and treatment. Take your time on love, it will sneak up and bite you on the butt, when you least expect it. Right now you need to focus on yourself and getting better, it's not being selfish, or self centered, it's taking care of us, so that we can help to take care of another. Too many young people these days rush into what they think is love, and when the new wears off, they are not equipped with the skill and knowledge that it takes to make a relationship work. they are left wondering what the hell they did, and generally have kids in the mix.
