I have one 10yo girl, bossy boots, very smart, likes to think she is all grown up, and one 8yo girl, drama queen, really smart, likes to squeal when she doesn't get her way. Both are free to a good home. Shipping at own cost.

Any takers?

They are driving me crazy right now! ARGH! And because of where I'm at in my head, I feel like hurting them! I actually told them to stay well away from me, because I WILL hurt them if they keep fighting each other!!!!

And not even a couple of packets of Tim Tam biscuits can make it better. Sad

GOD I wish I had some valium right now! (for the kids, not me!)

I only had one child so I didn't have to deal with two going at it, but he went through stages as well and some drove me insane, too. I don't want to say "This to shall pass" because that isn't very helpful, but they will change as they get older, really. I feel for you.

I remember the teen years with my kids, I wouldn't go back to that for anything. Nice offers though.

I have a 13 year old that I have said get away from me, or leave me alone a few times, and felt terrible later on. I am glad I am not the only one. My biggest problem right now is how lazy she is, and her refusal to pick up after her self. I keep thinking there is always jobcorp for ages 16-24

i never feel bad for telling my kids to leave me alone. i just say, you need to leave me alone for a few minutes because i am going to yell if you don't. and then poof, they vanish. and then i call a friend or go into my bedroom for "timeout" and calm down and remind myself that they are kids. annoying is what they do. haha!

My son was hell on wheels from about 11 to almost 18. I'm not looking forward to my 9 yo becoming a teenager.

Like sasshley i never hesitated to tell my kids to leave me alone i needed my time out and rest, especially in the early days when they stopped napping. A therapist told me to tell my kids that. My daughter is 12 and son is 9 and i totally can relate to your 10 yr old daughter thinking she's older than she is...mine acts that way and tells me how to say & do things, ok sometimes but come on. Imagine if i acted that way with my Mom, i would have got a wack on the rear end.
