Yeah, I seriously thought there was something that infested my last place, I even got my roommate thinking it too.

Then I realized after I moved, I still felt like it. And i decided to say nothing about it to my friend. He was fine, no issues. I can't believe I threw away all that furniture, but I'm glad I bought a new bed.

Still, its kind of lame that it was probably all in my head. Or maybe we did have a problem at some point and it stuck with me.. I don't know, all I know is that I'm sleeping peacefully now. Awesome.

The mind is a powerful thing, and can make you feel things that are so real. Once you realize what is causing you to feel that way, you can figure out how to best deal with it.

There is an article called, "The Itch" in the New Yorker magazine that you might be interested in. It's at http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/06/30/ 080630fa_fact_gawande?currentPage=all

I consider it a step in the right direction if you're sleeping better now!

I know how I can be when I don't get enough sleep. I tend to be a lot more volatile and irrational.

Oooh... shiny!

I'm curious - did you ever experience any auditory hallucinations with the lamictal/lamotrigine?

I've been hearing two very distinct and different sounds at random times over the past couple of weeks. The timing varies, but the sounds are always the same. One is just like a cell phone ringing. The other sounds like an opera tenor holding a high "c", and it projects in a way that makes me think it's coming from outside, like from my neighbor's house or from a car stereo...

I'm thinking that it may be a side effect of the lamictal. I hope not, because I'm real happy with this prescription. Anything like that ever occur with you?

Have you been checked for tinnitus? ringing in the ears? for a long time I have heard noises, like a sharp whistle, or a steady hum, and this was long before lamictal, have your hearing checked out, could be nothing more than fluid in the ear drum.
