I have the day alone, my children are at their grandparents, my bf at work, and me with boxes to unpack (we just moved). I am feeling terrified and don't know why. Anyone having similar feelings today want to talk?

I am not feeling that way today. But I can tell you what did. I just moved into a house at the end of May. I took the stuff I needed out and then unpacked when I felt like it. LOL. I still have two boxes left. LOL LOL I hate moving. And if the kids aren't there to help, well, that would mean that I would have to go shopping for organizational supplies - I would not be able unpack anything. lol.

That wasn't my post. I might have responded to someone else's post about that. There is a marijuania addiction support group on this site too. Any drugs are not good and will effect how well your medication works. I hope you get some help for your addiction. There is life once you put the drugs down.

Hi, Aural, your wondering what do about the pot? quit, pure and simple, I know it is going to be hard, been there and done that myself with Alcohol and meth.. get all the stuff out of the house, and don't bring it in, picture your children being taken out of your house and your life by Child protection services, they will do so if you are caught.

also, and not to be a smart ass but just FYI, i have worked in child protective services and removing children is a LAST resort and not done in cases of marijuana alone

Marijuana is often used to self-medicate. My husband and I both smoked marijuana daily for a lot of years (he's BP and i'm not) and it is addicting and it is hard to quit! Still, it is a drug and can and will effect you in some negative ways when used along with rx's. We were both able to quit (3 and 1/2 years ago now) cold turkey, but it did take the support of friends. Find some support to help, even narcotics anonymous if you're not comfortable asking someone you know for help. The docs actually said (and we believe them) that his use of marijuana made him and his episode much worse!

Also, they might not take your kids but you can get cited and even get jail time. "Possession of Dangerous Drugs" can seriously mess up job opportunities later in life...if you don't believe me, just ask my husband! Find help for yourself and for your kids.
