Welcome...it's great to find another Christian on-line.

I believe that my faith has pulled me through some of my darkest times.

I was like two people when I met my husband...the bipolar and the one who tried to be normal without the depression that nearly killed me or the high flying manic out of control one.

He has pulled me out of the darkest days (not that I still have them), but he has put up with me.

He is my life and support line and I can't live without him...

You can live with the bipolar disorder, not let bipolar disorder ruin you...

yes, cappy, he has pulled me out of some very dark times as well. there was a time that i was going to drive my car off of a cliff but didnt do it.my nephews car seat was in the back and i realized that i would never see him again, and then there was the time that i was going to jump off of a cliff, but didnt because there was several people that stopped off the side of the road to take pics of the ocean. you dont jup off a cliff with people around. so i believe that God saved my life twice

Hey, Kim, Glad to hear there were things that kept you from making such fatal mistakes. I like to think it is God doing those things too.

norma,

great to see you my dear friend...yes it was such a dark time. i called my psychiatrist's office to get in and see a crisis counselor, and that helped as well. by the time i got there i was doing better. i didnt actually see him because he isnt the crisis contact person, but i saw someone in his office. i wanted to be the one to tell him about my dark time, but the crisis counslor beat me to it. i was upset but i understand it was her obligations.

Glad you got some help. that was a dark time indeed. You had good instincts to call your psychiartist and get to counseling fast.

How is the packing going?

packing is going great. my husband surprised me when he let me pack all the dishes, and all the glasses. however, i wanted to start packing pots and pans, and that is where he put the brakes on. he started telling me that i was packing too much too fast...and that i was stressing him out. i thought that was funny because i am packing too soon to avoid my stress, and am causing him stress!

I would pack up every pot, dish, and anything else that made me have to cook...LOL LOL If it is just the two of you eat out!!! LOL I always found it less expensive to eat out when there is only two people. I always have at least 4 or more to cook for each night.
