Why wear a ribbon?

"I proudly wear this ribbon in support of my wife and son who both have bipolar." (Nightbreed)

MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

She is not on them anymore still. She got off Lamictal and Effexor. I have written her a letter explaining my concerns and gave her 2 books I read on BP as a gift. She doesnt think she is bp and thinks she was misdiagnosed. Im trying to save myself no by keeping away. I became very codependant with her as a care giver, because of her mainly depressed state for the last 5 years. Now that she went manic, Im no longer needed in her life or important.
