MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

I am sorry you are on the roller coaster. Hang in there! Have you made an appointment with your doctor. I know finding the right combo can be horrible, but I always thought the roller coaster was worse.

People's first reaction to anything that is perhaps to most people a "normal" emotion when experienced by someone with bipolar is to blame it all on the illness. People forget that we too can experience "normal" emotions and it isn't always the illness. BPisntwhoIam is right, finding the right regime can be horrendous, I'm still 3 years later trying to find the right combo but I know i'll get there as will you. Hang in there. Things will get better.

I'm sorry that your boyfriend suggested that your being angry is the biplar. That always makes me mad when my husband does that! I'm sorry that your mood and job search all have you down right now. I hope for better days ahead and in the meantime keep talking to us, we will listen.

Isn't this thread back from 2007?

Just an observation.

I woke up this morning thinking I'm not the guy I use to be yesterday, but the guy I want to be tomorrow.

Yes, this is a very old thread. Southern10 used to post a lot. Haven't heard from her for a while.
Comments made by me are from my own experience and they are my opinion alone, whose intent is only to share that opinion and not to give medical advice nor discourage from seeking medical help. Medicine is best left to the professionals that is what they do.
