Your marriage counselor needs to be smacked up side the head...she should have never treated you that way, you can ask her or the place she works for if she is in a clinic for a private session.. If he has ok'd it for you to talk with his doctor and maybe if he hasn't you can still get to the doctor and let them know..they will choose if they will let him know you've been by or called. There are laws that if he hasn't allowed the doctor to talk with you, that the doctor can't tell you what is going on in his session, but that doesn't mean you can't tell the doctor something..lol..

Your biggest decision is if you want to live this way.

While the doctors cannot tell you anything without your husband's permission, your marriage therapist sounds like a quack. I am a certified counselor myself, and the therapist should not seek to "have everything under control." He or she should be helping you and your husband to become empowered in a healthy way. Find a new marriage therapist.

I am the one with BP i can only imagine how my husband feels. He thinks I dont ever think of that, But I do, just when I am manic i dont care what I say or who I hurt and mostly it is him. I even become physical thats crazy he has finally figured out that when I tell him to get away from me that is for his own good, that I really dont want to hurt him. I say such mean things he must really love me to put up with it. We are very rocky right now because I am manic he says he cant take it anymore. But i went back on my meds today and see my counselor tomorrow, so i hope i get better again
Risperdal 2mg
Elavil 100mg
Klonopin 1mg
Wellbutrin 150mg

Tammy has been trying to please everyone her whole life, but at the end of the day she has realized she pleased everyone but herself ! :(

I had hard time explaining it to my wife but she now understands. Things will be better once he does as well.
