Hi Laurie.

Please go to the er. It sounds like you've been struggling for a little while now. You're not on meds and I think (for what that's worth, I'M NO EXPERT!) that the best way for you to find stability is thru medication. And the best way to keep your family together is for you to find that stability.

Your diary on Wednesday also said you were waiting for the doctor to call, and if he hasn't by now, don't wait any longer. It's the weekend, and he surely won't be calling on the weekend. And even if he did call, he might want to see you to evaluate your needs before prescribing medications.

Either way, be proactive and take charge of your mental wellbeing. The er is the best way to get something done NOW.

Feel free to pm me if you want someone to talk to.

Sincerely,

Paul

Laurie, Paul and Norma are both right, please go to the ER and do so now, they can help you, your husband I am sure can be reassured that you are making the steps towards getting better if he sees you making the effort, please stop the drinking, even medications will not help if you are still drinking as it interferes with how they work, trust me on this, as I too am a Alcoholic, I quit prior to the diagnosis, but I know if I was still out there, I would probably not be here today..
