I'm trying to see how long trazodone stays in your system, so I called my doc and his receptionist said she would call me back after she talked to him about it. No surprise, she's done it before-just left me hanging.

Can't call him again because he's only here 2 days a week. Isnt that nice. Tells you what kind of doc I am seeing. They can atleast call me back and tell me he doesnt know or something. This really really pisses me off.

I need help bad and my doc doesnt even really try to help me. I have to be the one to suggest things. I'm stuck with benadryl that doesnt work, forever...so depressing.

I'm so upset for having the side effects of no concentration and memory loss...

All I can do is cry - so sick of everything.

I doubt I will even be able to relax tonight.

I'm so irritable tonight that I dont even want to talk to my husband on the phone.

Even my pets are driving me nuts tonight.

Sorry your feeling like this Sad Try to find another pdoc that you're happier with, and thats more helpful. I know its easier said than done, but its possible. Try a hot bath. When im stressed i take baths that are so hot it takes me a minute to even get into it. Slows down your heartrate though.. usually makes me feel better Smile

thanks merryatl. I always appreciate you responding even though I repeat myself so much!

My town doesnt have but 2 other pdocs. That's why mine comes from out of town.He def takes my insurance, thank goodness.

I found two that doesnt even take my insurance, and he wont see me because I take klonopin. He is totally against a benzo. The other doc is a woman and I would love to see her(she doesnt take my ins. either) but my daughter sees her.

I do take propranol to help with my heart rate. I take that every night too.

thanks again...whenever you write to me, you better expect a long reply!

Craneman, I would suggest just creating a new profile and not letting your wife know. I'm not sure why either of you would have shared your profile names, but I think it's important for you to be able to post freely.

It's also not healthy at this point for you to post or look through the threads on BP in the family. It's just going to make you suffer. You have enough on your plate and you don't need to add to it. Beth

Find yourself a funny movie to watch.I don't care what it is it can be a TV show that makes you smile.A smile will do at this point right? Can you call a friend if not find you a good funny movie that you enjoy and sit back.I took Trazadone for about a month it does make you very tired. It will go away,it might take a couple of days but you will be okay.Luckily, you weren't put on Oleptro that's a time released form of Trazadone that goew into your system ALL day long.Oh gee, that was hell and a half.I took it for almost a month too and it about killed me,but hey I'm here still alive, still having panic attacks.Just try to do something relaxing for you okay.If that's drawing, painting,or the easiest throw on a movie grab you a drink kick up your feet and chill out.Take care Missy I hope this helps a little. P.M me if you want.Oh have you ever tried ambien or something a little stronger than benadryl like hydroxzyine (I take the syrup it's given for anxiety,or allergies but I think it's stronger then benadryl)it has to be prescribed though.Over the counter Dramamine for dizziness made me very sleeply the first few times I took it.I took it because everything was spinning and turns out it put me to sleep. They sell something at walgreens called Dream Water.Weird I know my sister drinks a little bottle of it every night and swears that it helps her sleep.Supposedly she's bipolar but hasn't been on meds in years, but has gotten into trouble big time in the past few years probably because of no medication.

Sincerely,

Whiterose35
