This thread is dedicated to my friend Warhorse, who lllloooovveeessss movies.

What is everyone's favorite Christmas or holiday movie?

I have too many to pick just one! I love ALL the classics but I think the one that makes me happiest to watch is "White Christmas." I love the songs and the dance numbers and Danny Kaye! The one that I cry the most at is "It's a Wonderful Life." A more modern one I like that is sentimental is Scrooged. I can't say that I love any Christmas comedies, but I watch a bunch every year.

So what are your favorite holiday movies? And let's see how many WARHORSE has seen!

All of my advice is based on experience and reading. I am not a medical doctor, and have never even played one on TV.

ok, you guys, don't laugh..I haven't watched the old classics, I can only think of one, "A Christmas Story"..now I have seen Home Alone, and I can only deal with the 1st one, but it's funny!! I'll have to watch some of the other oldies, maybe I don't know what I'm missing? I like the old kids stuff, Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town, etc..I love those still! sigh...

LOVE Christmas Story, and A Wonderful Life. The leg lamp - omg that cracks me up everytime... and of course - the Charlie Brown Christmas. That one makes me cry - the litle tree... so sweet. Smile

I love the Charlie Brown one too, I got a Charlie Brown tree a few years back it was so pitiful, it wasn't even funny but at least I can say I had one... lol

2UIT: I now hate Christmas so much that I don't watch the movies anymore.... But I did see 'A Christmas Carol' with George C. Scott the other nite, and if you ever wanted to hear a better version of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol', I don't know what it would be....
