For the off-topic forum, thought it would be nice if we shares some quick and easy recipes for the summer. I'm running out of ideas!

Glaxe: Pork chops.... I always bake them in the oven, but here's a twist.... Use a mango chutney glaze, then open a cup of tropical fruit... Cheap, cheap. Use the juicy fluid in the bottom of the pan, then portion the fruit out on top of the chops. This is Caribbean-style cooking. They are to die for.

Glaxe: I never looked up BTM's Cherry Cola site, but here's the best way in the world to bake a ham in the oven:

Never mind making the glaze for a ham from scratch.... Put the ham in a pan, pour some pancake syrup over the top, then add half a can of Cherry Coke. Simply to die for.... And learned this one from another on-line member.

OK, Ok so many people on this site have help me survive the ordeal of having a husband with BP. And I am still taking it one day at a time with no guarantees of what tomorrow will bring.

I am a Middle School teacher and my kids claim that I have the best Chocolate Chip Cookies. I use the Toll House recipes exactly to a "T" but I add one small box of instant french vanilla pudding when I add the eggs. This will make them soft batch, every single time! And I don't even like Chocolate Chis Cookies but I make them all of the time.

I never share my secret with anyone but this forum has brought me back into life with the care and support I get. Thank you all so much.

Machay: I am neither a cook or a baker.... But I have another secret to tell.... Whenever I cook either poultry or fish (which of course I bake everything in the oven).... Marinade with Cuban MoHo (Mojo) seasoning.... Another Caribbean idea. (It's fruit juices and seansoning.)

It's a sauce that you should be able to buy at any market. Unless you're on the other side of the planet!Grin
