a therapist once gave me great insight on anger.

Anger is an emotion like any other. The important thing is to discover what type of anger you have. There is "I have been wronged" and "I have been betrayed". Having anger isnt a bad thing. It means that you still have fight left within you, you know you have been wronged, and you have not resigned yourself to your situation.

Look at mothers Against Drunk Driving. It is an organization that formed from anger, being angry that they lost someone due to someone elses carelessness.

you can work through your anger, and fight for what you need. What you dont want to do is give up your anger in the form of resigning yourself or giving up in a situation that is not healthy.

Edwellb: The pain faded long ago. Now it's just a matter of convenience. I have lived on the couch for the past two years.
"Well I won't back down
No I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won't back down

No I'll stand my ground
Won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from dragging me down
Gonna stand my ground
And I won't back down"

omfg...he just rang me...said he missed me and waited silently for me to say the same....would've waited for the rest of his scabby life. he said he didn't leave us in the lurch financially because he made one payment of $44 for the house insurance. wtf???!!! i pay the mortgage, his loan, the power, the lines, the phone and broadband, the food, and the credit cards......and he expects kudos for making one lousy insurance payment. now i'm really mad. he actually raised his voice and said something like " don't tell me i haven't contributed".

he seems to think his employer will take him back...not bloody likely....and he's even got another imaginary job lined up. but, he did me the favour of giving me his phone number and address.....so now i've got somewhere to send the protection order to.

lib: he's not dumb enough to let his calls go to voicemail....but it's such a relief to have his address. as soon as the lawyer starts back at work i'm going to put it all in action. i can hardly believe my luck. Smile
