I have been reading the book that you all suggested.."Why does he do that" and it has certainly expanded my whole understanding or misunderstanding, which ever seems more likely of the abusive man that I am married to. I am not sure what catagory to put him in as he seems to fit into several quite well. He has been somewhat quiet of late and I wouldnt say" respectful" but not horrible either so life has been okay for the last few weeks. I have decided not to leave right now and have joined a couple of groups of women just meeting for company and coffee and I like that. He doesnt seem to mind that and he even cleaned the floors the other day while I was gone. Miracle!!! Anyway, am waiting for the next verbal attack but so far so good. I know it hasnt gone away but from reading the book I think I have learned to react differently at the next blow up. Will keep ya posted. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the July 4th weekend! I ordered myself a new Jeep Grand Cherokee on Friday and going to pick it up next weekend so am so excited to get it! take care all! |
"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....
