I have recently met a new friend on another bb here, not bpso, but someone who needed a friend, a helping hand, and we bonded instantly... No way I can describe it other than to say she needed new meds, big time.

She finally got to see a real pdoc on July 1st, and is crying/revelling about how much better she feels....I want this to stand as a tribute to how much better people with mental disorders can feel with the 'right' meds. I love you, honey.....

"Well I won't back down
No I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won't back down

No I'll stand my ground
Won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from dragging me down
Gonna stand my ground
And I won't back down"

How awesome to read that someone with with bp really "gets it" and realizes how important treatment ie; meds and a good pdoc is. I wish your friend well. Smile

A happy beginning! That is what we all hope for!
All of my advice is based on experience and reading. I am not a medical doctor, and have never even played one on TV.
