day 4 of downhill, rapid cycling bullshit. It is one of those times, that I just have had it. The MEMEMEME stuff, the controlling thing, the anger, the negativity. The OMG what is the matter, the NO THAT IS NOT SAFE thing, the money thing. The lock of connection to the planet thing. The trash thing, the everything thing. THX.

We have a lot cycling at the same time here makes me suspicious. I'm sorry you're having a rough time there we need to all gather together with our life preservers and stay afloat.

God Bless us, every one. Damsel, I could not agree more. The day hubby was admitted for acute mania, May 26, there were 12 admitted to the behavioral ward. I think that last full moon was a killer and I'm NOT KIDDING! Living, one minute at a time, and remember to breathe.

Maybe it was the full moon! Mine has been struggling with rapid cycling mixed episodes for the last week. He's been miserable, frustrated, and trying so hard to stay sane, even on his meds. Hang in there!

this is a true story; one of the nurses who cared for my hubby is a PRN nurse (works "as needed"), who marks every full moon becuase she knows that's when she works.

my husband realized he was starting to cycle and added ativan to his daily dose so he gets sound sleep. i recalled that it was high summer and a heat wave last year, but my mood diary shows, no, it was right in the start of the second week of june that a mini-episode started. we are hot and humid here, which always makes my husband more stressed. at least, here, the summer episodes are always easier than the deep winter ones. there are things to go out and do that pull him away from his own head in the summer. and our hammock...
All of my advice is based on experience and reading. I am not a medical doctor, and have never even played one on TV.
