I just wanted to write this out to get it off my chest and have gone from me. I can hope anyways. My mother is 72 and I have always felt like her parent. She has gotten bad in the last four years with her bipolar. Even though I have lived with someone with bipolar I still don't understand how at least my mother and now my one son can do things that are just so far out there and then you help them and they are mean to you. And never once say to you I'm sorry for what I have put you thur, (like my mother always calling me names) She just says I'm bipolar can't help it. I just don't get that at all. I'm sorry for anybody suffering from anything, but, I can't understand after all these years with my mom she has never told me sorry. I just hope and pray that my boys won't be that way. Not trying to be a brat, but, the people that love the people with bipolar need a hug or to be understood also.

And thats one of the reasons we're here too.....Not many understand what we go through and why for that matter. Are your mom and son under a doctors care and taking meds???

Yes they are both under a doctor care. I'm just a bit upset over all of this to have a bipolar mom and now two boys. It has gotten to me, and I'm just depressed about it all. Just needed to vent what I was feeling for so long. Also, to see if anybody else felt the same way that I did about living and loving bipolar people.

Webflower, welcome to the group.

You are not alone in the feelings you are having. This is someting that has to be experienced, explanations of living with a peson that has bipolar just doesn't do it justice. Life with a person that has bipolar is not easy, but it is not impossible either. Hang in there!

We are here for ya, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

GOD BLESS

RED
