Hi. My name is Danielle. My daughter Nicole has Bipolar. She is 19 yrs. old. She has recently run away from home. She has been gone 3 weeks today. I just wanted to introduce myself. Thanks

I am sorry that this is happening. It is terrible not to be able to protect one's child. My daughter is 18 and in a manic episode. We used to be very close, but I am the target of so much of her anger now. There is no way that I can help her. I am in a holding pattern until this episode ends-whenever that might be. The anxiety and fear is overwhelming. Waiting for one's child to come home must be 1000 times worse.You have my deepest sympathies.
