Hi I am new to this group and I need help. My son is 16

and was diagnosed with Bipoolar a year ago.I am afraid to ask him to do anything. He gets so angry at times and goes off.He yells and punches things. One minute he's fine and the next he's not.He see's a dr. of psychology who talks to him about every other week and he is taking Concerta and Seroquel.(that's when he takes them) .He doesn't like to take them. He's a runner and says that they slow him down.He also was diagnosed with ADHD.

If he is not taking the medications as prescribed, you should tell his doctor.

Mommynace: If those are the only meds he's taking, then there's no mood stabilizer in the mix and he probably needs one. You should call his dr. and discuss it. Is he seeing a psychiatrist?
"Is this a blessing? Or is it a curse?
Does it get any better? Can it get any worse?
Will it go on forever? Is it over tonight?
Does it come with the darkness? Does it bring out the light?
Is it richer than diamonds? Or just a little cheaper than spit?"--Jim Steinham
