First, I want to thank all of you for contributing and supporting each other in such a caring, positive way! This forum is awesome, and I'm so proud to be part of it.

I thought it might be helpful and interesting to share what some of us do to help deal with the stress and worry that comes from loving a person with bipolar disorder.

I like a nice soothing, bubble bath. I like to listen to music. I enjoy reading easy novels, that don't require too much thought, lol. Pretty much anything to distract me and remind me of who I am, so I don't get lost.

Best of all, I like to come here and read our posts. It is so helpful to know I'm not alone, and that in some way, we can help each other.

Terri

I also enjoy a nice bath! I scrapbook, listen to upbeat music, go have starbucks, go tanning. Sometimes I clean to extreme when im stressed.

Love the 'clean to extreme' - I do that too! The worse the news is the more I clean.
